South Knox Wins GRABER POST BUILDINGS CLASSIC Basketball Tourney

Class 2A Honorable Mention South Knox outlasted Class 1A #4 Barr-Reeve, 61-58 in double overtime Saturday night to capture the championship trophy in the 3rd annual GRABER POST BUILDINGS CLASSIC at North Daviess High School. 

     5’11 Senior guard, Jeramy Lucas, lead the 7-1 Spartans with a season high 27 points to lead all scorers and earn the tournament’s MVP Award.  Barr-Reeve hit 2 buzzer beater 3-point shots to force each overtime period, the first by Junior guard Trey Hughes, who lead the Viking with 24 points, and the next one by Senior guard Ethan Knepp. 

     North Daviess upset Class 2A honorable mention Brownstown Central to win the 3rd Place game 42-38.  Eastern-Greene won the 5th place game, 48-34 over Southwestern-Hanover, while Cloverdale defeated Washington Catholic 76-61 in the 7th place game.
